About MIAS
Building Foundations. Preparing for the Future.
The Metropolitan Institute of Arts and Sciences (MIAS) – Caloocan is the main campus of MIAS, a private educational institution committed to providing accessible, quality education for Filipino learners. Located along Capricorn Street, Maria Luisa Subdivision, Zabarte Road, Caloocan City, the campus aims to help students build knowledge, develop practical skills, and prepare for future opportunities.
MIAS believes that education should prepare students for life beyond the classroom. Through academic instruction, hands-on learning, and student development activities, MIAS Caloocan encourages learners to explore their interests, discover their strengths, and work toward their personal and career goals.
Senior High School Programs
For School Year 2026–2027, MIAS Caloocan offers Senior High School programs under two tracks: Academic and TechPro. The curriculum follows the DepEd Strengthened Senior High School framework and uses a trimester system.
The Academic track offers learning pathways in Law and Uniformed Personnel, Education, Medical, and Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Arts. These pathways help students explore their interests and prepare for further studies and future careers.
The TechPro track focuses on practical and career-related learning. Its pathways include Hospitality and Tourism, Food and Beverage, Automotive Servicing, Digital Arts, Health and Wellness, and Event Management. These programs help students develop skills that they can use for further training, employment, or entrepreneurship.
Students also gain access to digital learning tools, including Microsoft 365 and Canva, to support their academic work, creativity, and digital skills.
Practical Learning and Skills Development
MIAS Caloocan connects classroom learning with real-world applications. Through projects, workshops, presentations, and practical activities, students can strengthen their communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills.
The school aims to prepare learners for college, employment, and further training by giving them opportunities to apply their knowledge and develop confidence in their abilities.
Student Life and Development
MIAS Caloocan values the role of school life in shaping well-rounded learners. Through intramurals, school events, workshops, and other student activities, learners can develop teamwork, discipline, creativity, leadership, and responsibility.
These experiences help students build relationships, explore their talents, and take an active role in the school community.
Accessible Education and Student Support
MIAS is committed to expanding access to education through student assistance and learning opportunities. Available enrollment benefits for School Year 2026–2027 include cash assistance for eligible Grade 11 students, a free uniform, free foreign language classes, and technical-vocational learning opportunities, subject to the applicable program terms.
The school also welcomes eligible incoming Grade 11 students, transferees, and Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners. Families may contact the admissions office for current enrollment requirements, tuition details, and assistance guidelines.
College Programs
MIAS Caloocan also provides college-level education through programs in Criminology, Accountancy, and Real Estate Management. These programs aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills relevant to their chosen fields.
MIAS encourages students to build a strong educational foundation and pursue opportunities that support their long-term academic and professional goals.
A Commitment to Educational Growth
Under the leadership of President and CEO Dr. Maribel M. Collado, MIAS continues to pursue its goal of improving educational opportunities for Filipino learners.
The institution's founding vision was shaped by the need to strengthen students' preparation for professional licensure examinations, particularly in Criminology. This commitment reflects MIAS's focus on helping learners develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed throughout their educational journey.
